Guillaume Alan: French Interior design at its best
We are so thrilled to show you the work of French designer Guillaume Alan. This talented designer is based in Paris and in London and represents the modern French interior design that we love.
Guillaume was born into the world of architecture and interior design. He was surrounded by architecture and beautiful furniture and antiques due to his parent’s profession of being architects and his grandmother being an antique dealer. From an early age, Guillaume understood the value of spacial planning, emotional interaction with space and the objects within it and the beauty of quality and antique furniture. This set the foundation for him to open his own studio in Saint-Germain-des-Près in Paris when he was 24.
Guillaume Alan at work
Guillaume Alan’s architectural work and furniture collection are simplistic while grand; pure while complex. His design aesthetic combines modernism with attention to form, material and texture.
Together with his business partner Emilie Le Corre, he creates projects in harmony with the tradition of French design. Emilie is in charge of the Paris and London studios. Guillaume and Emilie share the same vision when it comes to the interiors they create. Always at the center of their design decision is the emotional connection between space, object, and client. All of their spaces trigger an emotional reaction, which makes each space unique and recognizable.
The Victor Hugo project or a story of Parisian elegance.
We are taking a closer look on one of his latest interiors, a Parisian two-story apartment with a 360-degree view of the city, opening onto gardens. (Just writing out the description sounds like a dream to me:))
Thank you to Guillaume and Emilie to allow us to have a closer look into this apartment and taking us on a journey through the grand Parisian way of living!
