Inexpensive and easy Christmas wreath on a hanger
This Christmas wreath DIY is the cheapest and easiest way,
to add some green to your Christmas decor this year!
It literally costs you (almost) nothing and is super easy to do!
For the wreath, I used an old wire hanger, that I found in my closet.
All you have do, is to bend the Wire until it creates a more or less perfect circle.
Don’t worry if the circle wound looks perfect.
As soon you add the greenery you will not see the shape anymore!
For the greenery, I went on a walk through the woods in front of our house
and picked some evergreens, ivory and other greens I liked.
The one thing I had to buy was wire.
I chose golden wire since that color looked best with the wire of the hanger.
The total cost of the wreath was only 1,75 Euro pretty good right:)
How to create the Christmas wreath
My suggestion is to start with laying the leaves and branches
on top of the bend, wire to see what shape you liked most.
After you have an idea how it should look like,
cut small pieces of wire and twisted them around the leaf and the hanger.
My tip: try to hide the wire behind the leaves so you can’t see them.
Also, start with the big pieces and create the basic shape.
After you have created your basic shape you can add the more details
and small leaves to give the wreath more character.
By the end, I did not even have to use wire anymore.
I simply stuck the smaller pieces into the already existing wire loops and greenery.
I hope you enjoyed this simple minimal and quick Christmas wreath DIY!
